The working principle of the air source heat pump water heater is that the low-temperature refrigerant in the compressor system continuously absorbs the low-level heat energy in the outdoor air, brings it back to the compressor and upgrades it to the available high-level heat energy to heat the cold water. The heating principle of air energy heat pump water heater is the same as that of air conditioner, but the product configuration is different. The air energy heat pump water heater is mainly used to heat and boil water, increase the heat exchange area of evaporator and condenser, and adopt high temperature and high pressure resistant compressor system.

The electric water heater consumes 1000 electricity and can only produce 0.95kw of heat, while the air source water heater can use the same amount of electricity as the electric water heater to save much more energy. The reason is that the electric energy consumed by the air energy water heater is not directly used to boil water, but drives the compressor to compress to do work, so that the low-temperature refrigerant that has absorbed air heat can be heated into high-temperature refrigerant, and the high-temperature refrigerant releases heat to heat the cold water in the insulation water tank.
The refrigeration medium plays the role of "absorbing", "conveying" and "transferring" heat in the operation of air energy heat pump water heater, so as to achieve the purpose of high efficiency and energy saving. In addition, due to the good thermal insulation effect of the water tank, the water temperature can be maintained for a long time. The reason why the water in the water tank can keep constant temperature for a long time is that there is an insulating layer in the middle of the water tank.
Air energy heat pump water heater is a kind of regenerative water heater, with large water output and water temperature generally set at 45 ℃ - 55 ℃. Most air energy heat pump water heaters have a thermal insulation function. When the water temperature is set at 45 ℃ - 55 ℃, the heating will be stopped automatically. When the water temperature is lower than 45 ℃, the heating will be started automatically to keep the water temperature in the water tank above 55 ℃.
